Mexican Architecture Steel Award for Studients
In order to promote the use of steel among future architects, CANACERO invites students from all mexican universities every year since 2008, to participate with a comprehensive architectural blueprint, which highlights the use of steel in its different applications, together with the fundamental aspects of architectural design (urban, regulatory, structural, sustainable, accessibility, innovation, creativity, economic feasibility, scale, among others).

ALACERO CONTEST
For 11 years, the use of steel in construction has been encouraged among architecture students in Latin America through ALACERO’s Competition.
The winning project of the First Place in the NATIONAL STEEL AWARD FOR ARCHITECTURAL STUDENTS, obtains the right to participate in the 11th ALACERO Steel Design Competition for Architecture Students 2018, organized by the Latin American Steel Association (ALACERO) and which will take place in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia, next November.
